General Information
Students requiring diet modifications for medical conditions are requested to contact our Food Service Director. Appointments may be arranged to discuss dietary requirements and any modifications necessary for managing food consumption on campus. Students seeking dietary support for weight loss, diabetes, eating disorders, and other chronic conditions should contact a personal physician to obtain a diet outline.

Food Intolerance
Students suffering from lactose intolerance will find substitute product available in the main dining facility.  For questions concerning foods and ingredients please feel free to ask the manager on duty or contact Sodexho offices at (936)261-1770.

Policies & Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable.  Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser

Food Allergies
Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and ingredients in the food we serve are vital in food allergy management.  Students who have diagnosed food allergies should contact a member of our management staff to alert us to their needs.  A comprehensive plan including a list of foods to avoid, menus to follow, and alternative foods that are available will be developed.  Students with questions regarding ingredients and food preparation in any of our dining locations are encourage to ask the manager on duty for assistance.

Kosher Dining
The demand for kosher meals varies from year to year.  Currently, kosher meals are available on a request only basis.  For students interested in eating kosher in the dining halls, meals are purchased from a kosher purveyor and heated as needed.  There is an additional cost for these meals.  Questions regarding kosher dining on campus should be directed to our Food Service Director.

Special Diets
For special diet requests, please contact our Chef, Chris Thomas at: Chris.Thomas@sodexo.com.
